On Tuesday night we attended an Ethiopian dinner at Gladney. Kuri had been looking forward to this event ever since we found out about it. She has so much love for Belay. As soon ans she saw him, she ran to him and wouldn't let go. During the evening, when he got up to speak, Kuri yelled out, "Belay!"
It was also good to see the Norwoods again and a friend we met at the Kidmia school last year. And, of course, it's always a joy to be with other Ethiopian adoptive families. When is was time to leave, we practically had to tear Kuri away.
Life is good. We are preparing for Kuri's first birthday in America--just a few short weeks away. We are also pondering what God is calling us to do next. We know that we are supposed to return to Ethiopia. Will it be for mission work or to bring home another little one? We are trusting His perfect will and timing on that matter.

It's so great that Kuri got to see Belay. I can hear her voice shouting his name :)
I've read so much about Belay. He must be a very special person.
Kuri has grown so much!
I know my girls have too! I can't wait to see them!
Just catching up with you guys! So neat that Kuri got to enjoy a reunion with Belay. :) ~Shelly
